Silvery Website Update

I think it was somewhere around 2003 that I lost my personal website’s domain name, Argent.net, by neglecting to renew (it has since become the domain of an Ethereum bitcoin wallet provider company). It was shortly after that when I nabbed “silvery.com” and made it my new web domain.

That earlier website was long maintained as a highly minimalist, hand-coded website — not out of a lack of ability to do something more graphically complex or interesting, but out of some misguided pride in being able to hand-code HTML and out of a desire to show that search engine optimization can work just fine with very simply-coded websites.

Fast-forward twenty years later to 2023, and the website was no longer representative of me, and the hyper-simplicity of design and code conveyed a naive, unsophisticated impression. So it is that I have now redesigned the site and relaunched it in the current format.

The site is now more current and more flexible for my needs. Hopefully, it also is serving your needs as you have assumably come here to find something about me.

The site still has a number of things involving my varied interests. I apologize for that — I likely should only have it focus on my professional work and leave the rest unmentioned. But, it is difficult to do that, and I have some hope that providing more information than necessary will at least show that there is more to me than just an internet marketer who is long-in-the-tooth.
